Aqmola Regional Philharmonic has been working since 1956. The main task of the philharmonic society is the promotion and development of national culture, the heritage of great akyns, works of composers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and masterpieces of classical music. In 1988, a symphony orchestra was created, the main conductor of which is A. Idrisov, in 1993 – an orchestra of Kazakh folk instruments named after K. Kumisbekov.
